Booking only the practitioner is not enough
In BeebeeBoard, practice management software for healthcare specialists and medical practices, we have introduced a new way to organise appointments inside your diary.
When you book an appointment from now on you can reserve not only the practitioner but also the room and the medical device involved.
At each appointment a patient takes up not only a healthcare professional but also a room and, if the treatment requires it, a piece of medical equipment such as a tecar or a laser.
For this reason, booking only the specialist in the schedule is not enough to have full control of your medical centre. We have to think about all three factors at play
- Operator
- Room
- Electromedical device
We know very well that book appointments must be an operation as fast possible but also the most precise possible.
For this reason we have made it possible to link both a room and the medical device involved to every visit. This way, when booking it is enough to enter the type of visit, for example tecar therapy, and BeebeeBoard will automatically reserve the tecar device and the room involved, as well as adding the information already stored such as the price, the duration and, if set, the appointment colour.
Managing overlaps
We have gone a step further, so that an unmistakable message warns you of any clashes over rooms or medical equipment.

This is because at a glance at the schedule it is not easy to tell whether a device has already been taken by another operator or whether a room has already been booked by a colleague.
We have always tried to keep the greatest possible simplicity in carrying out every operation and, above all, the thing that sets us apart: maximum flexibility. For this reason the platform shows you a warning, large and clearly visible, but still only a warning, and it is you who decides whether to force the overlap or cancel the operation!
If you need help, we want to help you set up the platform to suit your needs and guide you step by step until you are completely independent in managing your diaries
