From 31 March 2026, every dentist and dental practitioner - whether self-employed or in a private facility - is obliged to feed the Electronic Health Record 2.0 with reports of the services provided. From March 31, 2026, all healthcare professionals—including freelance dentists and those working in private facilities—are required to add records of services provided to the Electronic Health Record 2.0, as required by Legislative Decree 34/2020 (Relaunch Decree) and subsequent implementing provisions.
Yes, the rules provide that the patient may object to their record being populated and may mask individual documents. When the objection is active the document is not added, and the software reports the outcome of the submission.
